Antler Nordics reveals 2X investment terms and revamped 8-week residency

Powered by our recently closed 100.000.000 EUR second fund, we’re doubling down on the Nordics and increasing our initial pre-seed investment 2× to 200.000 EUR, bringing our total pre-seed commitment to 500.000 EUR.

We’ve shortened our residency program to 8 weeks, with first investment decisions (for pre-formed teams) as early as week 4 — our goal is to get you funded fast.

Founders receive constant 1:1 mentorship from fund partners and get access to 4.000.000+ USD in perks — from infrastructure to AI to fintech — available immediately once you’re backed. As a global platform, we also help open doors beyond your local market.

Backdrop

Antler launched in Stockholm in 2019, and the pace has been fast ever since. We’ve since opened offices in Oslo (2020), Copenhagen (2022), and Helsinki (2024).

We’ve worked with 1.000+ founders and backed standout companies like Lovable, Glint Solar, PerPlant, Spoor, Wingbits, QMill, and Telgea, to name a few.

We’ve nearly tripled our fund size from the first to the second fund and grown our Nordic team to over 20 people.

Along the way, we’ve made gradual improvements to our approach — but now, with this new fund, we’ve made a bigger leap. Our revamped, more compact residency focuses entirely on building fast and gaining traction — because that’s what being a founder is all about.

Our New Investment Terms (in Detail)

We invest an initial 200.000 EUR, and pre-commit an additional 300.000 EUR in matching funds for your first funding round post-Antler — bringing our total potential investment to 500.000 EUR.

The initial 200.000 EUR is structured as:

– 100.000 EUR for an 8.5% ownership stake in your company
– 100.000 EUR via an uncapped SAFE (or convertible) with a most-favored-nation (MFN) clause

The full amount is wired immediately after a positive investment decision.

The additional 300.000 EUR is invested in your first funding round post-Antler, provided that:

– The round is led by professional or semi-professional investors (we invest up to ⅓ on matching terms)
– The round takes place within 9 months of our initial investment

Our programs take place in person across the Nordic capitals — Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, and Copenhagen — with one goal: help you build something great, fast.

Over 8 intense weeks, you’ll receive 1:1 mentorship, work hands-on with early customers, refine your product, and collaborate with top-tier founder peers. At the end of the program, we invest in the most promising teams.

We’re VCs first — focused entirely on backing venture-scale companies. We offer real support, direct feedback, and tough love when needed. If your product or team isn’t working, we’ll tell you — and help you fix it.

And from the moment you’re backed, you get access to 4.000.000+ USD in perks covering infrastructure, AI, payments, fintech, and more.

We don’t stop at 500.000 EUR. From this second fund, we have dedicated follow-on reserves through Seed and Series A. After that, we can continue backing you via Antler’s Elevate fund, all the way through Series C.
