Antler’s global community grew larger, stronger, and more impactful in 2023, now including 8,000 founders who completed Antler’s residencies, selected from 280,000 applicants.

This year we expanded to 27 offices across six continents, opening our doors in Malaysia, MENAP (Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan), and Finland. We ran 47 founder residencies, our most in a single year, with a record number of applicants—putting us on track to hit 120K applications by the end of this year. Our Antler team members collectively spent 200,000+ hours with founding teams before making our first investments. And we dialed up our resources and support for our invested founders—from fundraising tools to leading operator advice to talent sourcing—helping our portfolio companies go further, faster. 

As the world’s day zero investor, we are honored to support founders representing 142 nationalities, including 1,900 women founders and 41% who identify with one or more underrepresented communities.  

As we close the year marking our 1,000th investment in companies originating from an Antler residency, our scale matters for one reason:
