Sam is a Principal on the Investment team at Antler in NYC. Prior to Antler, Sam was the co-founder and CEO of Pinstripe, a venture-backed social commerce startup focused on bringing offline shopping online. Before that, Sam was a Partner at CircleUp, a seed and series A focused venture capital firm focused on consumer startups where he led sourcing, diligencing and supporting investments. Outside of being a former founder (and VC), Sam is an avid filmmaker, having written and sold a number of screenplays and directed a short that won a few awards, and writes a Substack called Compounding Thoughts where he explores a number of topics, such as what happens when humans no longer have a monopoly on imagination.
