Daphne has sat across from more than 750 founders in her five years in early stage tech. As a Principal at Antler, she meets people at the earliest-stage, often before there's a company. Her job is to figure out who can build, and to back them long before most investors want to see traction.

She has worked directly with more than 400 of those founders and been part of 40 investments, including Mycroft, Zofiq, Arki, Satellica, Databiomes, FlowLinker and Supercurve. She looks for uniquely qualified teams who have a real pain point and show early signs of scale and defensibility. She is most interested in the first hundred days of a company, when an idea gets its first real test and either earns the right to keep going or doesn't.

Daphne came to venture by way of Techstars and a Techstars-backed startup in New York. She began her career at PwC, where she earned her CPA.
