Your role as a Senior Finance and Operations Associate 

  • Support finance, governance, legal, compliance and operations for the Antler Global Fund.
  • Own day-to-day financial tasks including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, expense management and reimbursements
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager and our fund administrator to ensure execution of fund-related payments, investments, drawdowns and distributions 
  • Support in the preparation of annual financial statements, external audit requirements and tax filing with regulators
  • Drive and support critical legal work streams including tax and legal structuring for investments and regulatory management. 
  • Ensure timely external reporting to investors, governmental regulatory bodies, auditors, advisors and other relevant third parties 
  • Work closely with portfolio companies and founders during the investment process
  • Liaise with the investment and capital team and drive investor reporting and portfolio management initiatives 
  • Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Your Background

  • Higher education and previous experience within accounting, auditing or legal/compliance
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office or Google Suite
  • Proactive and positive personality with excellent communication skills
  • Able to work effectively with minimal management guidance and supervision across time zones
  • High level of integrity and takes accountability of work 
  • Ability to propose constructive and creative ideas to address observed gaps
  • Ability to thrive on challenges in a very fast-paced and high-volume environment where quality and speed are of essence
  • Comfortable dealing with various stakeholders such as founders and investors
  • Organised with an excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Interest in venture capital and startups
