We are now hiring an exceptional self-starter as a Talent Manager within our Portfolio Team.


The Role: 

Antler India is hiring a Talent Manager for the Portfolio team. This role involves working closely with the Partners and core portfolio team to propel Antler India’s portfolio companies to their next stage of growth by solving their biggest problem at the earliest stage: talent acquisition. This is a hands-on, challenging role that spans (1) building a “hiring” engine for Antler India (2) owning and fulfilling key open roles at portfolio companies (3) assisting portfolio companies in overall hiring strategy (4) ecosystem partnerships and more. The role starts as an individual contributor role, but can quickly grow into a larger standalone team.

While your primary focus will be India, you will be part of a larger global team with access to work with top founders and companies in the Antler portfolio.

This role is based in Bangalore but can be remote in the interim period.



  • Build strong networks for senior and junior hires across engineering, product, sales, design and more
  • Support hiring for open roles (from founding team to junior hires) at portfolio companies by identifying and bringing in exceptional talent
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend new sources for active and passive recruiting
  • Help portfolio companies shape their hiring strategy, process and talent storytelling
  • Educate portfolio companies on industry best practices 
  • Develop and execute a plan to build a hiring “engine” for Antler India, with the use of partners or a broader team - design a creative and scalable solution to optimize our recruiting system
  • Develop and own key partnerships and ecosystem relationships for talent
  • Fundamentally, the North Star mandate is to help our founders hire the best team possible at the earliest stage


Skill-sets and competencies:

  • At least 4+ years of experience in Recruiting Operations, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, People programs or related experience
  • Strong existing network or ability to build relationships across the startup ecosystem for senior and founding team hires
  • Experience building and scaling processes in a high-growth, dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate ambiguities
  • Superb communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Prior experience in a fast-growth startup a strong plus
  • Prior experience in engineering hiring a strong plus

The Process

  1. You will receive an automated acknowledgement of your application
  2. We will review your application and resume, post which schedule a conversation with you. This will be your first screening interview.
  3. After the screening interview, we will send you a case study. You are expected to submit a written response in the allotted time. 
  4. After the case study, we will be scheduling a few rounds of conversations with our partners and members of our team. We are on a small team, so having multiple conversations is helpful to us and for you to get a sense of the firm.
