To learn more about your skills and motivation we will schedule a 20 minutes call. Here we will confirm some details around your commitment and drive. Also, this is your chance to ask us any pressing questions you have.
This interview is to deep dive into the skills you have showcased through your submission and any additional ones you may have. We will also want to hear what is driving you to start a business and the attributes you have to scale it.
An interview with an Antler Partner or Director to dig deeper into ideas you might have and test your ability to think on the spot and execution skills. Or, a deeper dive into your area of expertise and leadership potential.
We might request a reference check at the final stages.
Once we have made an offer, the next steps are simple. All that is left is for you to sign an Antler Founder Agreement before you can officially kick off your new entrepreneurial journey. Shortly after, we will send you a welcome package containing instructions on how to participate in our pre-program activities that are meant to prepare you for your first day as well as help you get to know the other founders in your cohort ahead of Day 1 of the program.
We are interested in hearing from those who have built a team, are working on a specific idea and have or have not yet incorporated as a company. The business needs to be pre-investment - meaning you have not raised capital with an external investor.

After you click apply you will receive an email asking you to submit a company pitch deck and an optional short video (we suggest using Loom). The video should be kept to 3 minutes max and tell us a bit about yourself, your team and why you want to join Antler. We are looking to understand more about your skills, how they align to your business, what you have built to date, market sizing, current competition and the traction you have achieved. We are also keen to hear the value that you are looking to gain from Antler.
Your pitch deck must include slides covering the following:
The team will review your submission focusing on the size of the opportunity you are addressing and your strength as a founding team. We will also review if Antler is best placed to support you in your future growth. If we require some additional information, we may reach out with a short questionnaire.
After a successful review, all co-founders will interview with an Antler Partner to deep dive into the business, you as individuals and how you complement one another to form the foundations of a strong company.
We may request a reference check at the final stages.
If everything checks out, we will send you an offer to join Antler.
If you require a Visa, only Antler Amsterdam and Antler Singapore can facilitate your Visa.
When can I apply for a Visa? You can apply once we have assessed your skills and you have been formally welcomed to join the cohort.
Does Antler cover the costs of my Visa application? Every applicant that requires a startup Visa will receive an additional EUR 1000 grant to pay for visa costs.
What will be my Visa status? We will help you apply for a startup Visa which is valid for 1 year. If you receive Antler’s investment and therefore still have a running business with Antler after the initial 1 year, you are eligible for an extension of your Visa.
The Antler program runs for 6 months, the start-date for the fourth cohort will be May 2021
Our cohorts are made from a wide variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise. Globally, Antler only accepts the top 2% of applicants and typically our founders have an average of 10 years of professional work experience.
All selected founders get a one time grant of €2,000. Plus an additional €1,000 if you require a startup visa. We invest €100,000 for a 12% equity stake in each company selected by our investment committee. For all companies we select, €45,000 is used to cover the program fees, meaning you get €55,000 to begin building your dream company. Learn more by viewing our program details
